Hi Everyone,

Many years ago when my Grandad died, I was given a little tin with 'bits & pieces' in . Among the items was a silver coin /token. On one side it has a central image of Eugen Sandow, around his head it reads

Save your coins they may bring you £1000
EUGEN SANDOW

and the reverse has laurel wreaths around the edge, and in centre reads

This coin voucher counts as 4 1/2 D in Sandow's cocoa & chocolate competition

It feels very light weight as if made of tin, but is very hard ( cannot bend ).

I have read about his chocolate factory in Hayes, but wonder if anyone knows anything about this coin, or the 'cocoa & chocolate competition ?

Would appreciate any help /coment.
Many thanks.
Sue.
