David Gentle

David Gentle is truly a celebrity in the Iron Game. Not only is he a Maxaldist but, as can be see from his photos, a succesful Bodybuilder. The photo above was taken in 1953 when David was 20 and shows a remarkable physique for the era.

The cutting above, from Health & Strength Dec 1971, announced David winning a medal in the long-running Muscle Control Contest and the photo below shows him posing in that year.

If that wasn't enough, David is now known and respected as one of the most prolific and knowledgeable writers on all matters to do with Strength & Physical Culture. To date he has written in excess of 2000 articles in 26 Muscle Magazines - his latest being in the current Muscle Mag International.

Several of his articles now appear on the Internet, bringing David's amazing knowledge to a new audience.
