Something completely different. A new section has been opened up on the website
to allow Maxaldists who have achieved results either recently or in the past
to display their photographs and /or mini biograpy. We already have a section
on Maxaldists who have become famous for whatever reasons. This section is
for the 'unknown' Maxaldists to come forward and show their stuff. John Thorpe
is the first of hopefully many to step
forward. The section is called 'Maxaldists
at Large'

the use of Dumbells and a Chin Bar.

A new and very important addition to this site. 'Great
Strength by Muscle Control' written by Maxick around 1913. It actually
contains no new Muscle Control exercises but instead concentrates on using
Muscle Control techniques for Weightlifting. The illustrations show Maxick,
Monte Saldo, Edward Aston and others using Barbells and Dumb-bells. So rare
that only a photo-copy was available. Contributed by David Gentle.

All is not lost but it will take a few days to recover the document and restore
it.
