Nature's Way to Health - A Treatise Explanatory of Maxalding is not only very rare but also an extremely informative booklet about Maxalding.

Published in the mid 1920s and with Maxick now no longer a partner (he gave up all his interests in the business after internment during the Great War) Monte Saldo - or Alfred Monte-Saldo as he was now calling himself - wrote this 20 page leaflet explaining the Maxalding principles.

In this booklet great emphasis is made on the Maxalding methods being able to cure certain illnesses and conditions. Constipation is dealt with in the greatest detail together with Indigestion, Neurasthenia (a popular problem at that time), Obesity, Headaches etc. Of the three aspects of Maxalding - Curative, Fitness & Strength - Curative is dealt with in far greater detail.

Although probably trying to compete on popular topics with other courses of that period and whilst containing a lot of sensible and good information it seems now to be bordering on quackery, far more so in fact than the book 'Maxalding' that was published a few years later by Monte Saldo and which contains much more emphasis on Muscle Control and Strength exercises.

Over the successive years this 'Curative' element diminished even more to the point that by the time Court Saldo took over Maxalding courses were firmly established on the lines of Muscle Control & Strength Development.
